Which messages these terms cover

• Messages from businesses that use DeskTeam. A business's AI assistant texts you about your inquiry, your call or your appointment, in that business's name.
• Messages from DeskTeam about your demo, if you ask for texts when you request a demo on this website.
• Account alerts to DeskTeam customers, such as new-lead and missed-call alerts, if you turn them on.

How you agree to receive texts

• By ticking a box that asks for your consent on a form, such as a business's contact form or our demo request form.
• By texting the business first.
• By calling a business whose call went unanswered: you may receive one text about your call. More texts come only if you reply.

Consent to texts is never a condition of buying anything.

Message frequency and costs

Message frequency varies with your conversation. Automated follow-ups are limited to 3 texts a day and 6 a week, sent Monday to Saturday 9 am to 8 pm and Sunday noon to 8 pm in your local time. Replies to your own messages may arrive outside those hours. Message and data rates may apply.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message (STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT also work). You may receive one message confirming you're unsubscribed, and then no more automated texts. To start again, reply START.

Automated assistant

Texts are written by an AI assistant on the business's behalf, and the first one says so. You can ask for a person at any time.

Carriers

Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

We don't sell or share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties for their marketing. See our privacy policy.
